Founded in 1937, Elyria Plating Corporation has continued to grow from its humble beginnings to a 65,000 sq. ft. full production plating facility, capable of meeting the ever increasing needs of its customers.


Specialists in rack and barrel zinc plating, rack and barrel cadmium plating, barrel nickel plating as well as rack tin plating and utilizing the latest in PLC Technology, they have been able to increase their up-time significantly. Therefore, Elyria Plating Corporation have been able to deliver on-time a high-quality product that meets their customers' expectations.

In their continuing commitment to quality excellence, Elyria Plating Corporation achieved certification to ISO 9001:2000 standards in 2003. They have also received certification from General Motors for the new GMW3044 specification Codes X & N in 2004.


Elyria Plating Corporation's plant is located in the geographical center of northern Ohio and their trucks are on the road daily so they can offer their customers timely pick-up and delivery throughout northern and central Ohio as well as western Pennsylvania, eastern Indiana and southern Michigan.
